NYS Capitol, Albany, NYNurses Rally at the State Capitol

Tuesday, May 2, 2006, 10:30 a.m. – Noon

Celebrate Nurses Week 2006 by calling on the New York State Legislature to enact laws that will improve working conditions and protect patients. Join nurses from NYSNA, 1199/SEIU Nurse Alliance of New York State, the Public Employees Federation, and NYSUT Health Care Professionals, as we speak with one, strong voice.

Transportation Update

Based on registration, NYSNA will provide free buses at the following locations:

  • Brooklyn:
    Leaving from Grand Army Plaza (Eastern Parkway and Flatbush Avenue) at 6:00 a.m. Please be at the pickup location 15 minutes before departure.
  • Bronx:
    Leaving from Grand Concourse (between 149th Street and 150th Street) at 7:00 a.m. Please be at the pickup location 15 minutes before departure.
  • Manhattan:
    Leaving from Columbus Circle (Broadway and 60th Street) at 6:00 a.m. Please be at the pickup location 15 minutes before departure.
