If you want to ride one of the buses, please see the list below of locations where buses will be traveling from. Report to the location listed by 7:30 AM and check in with the bus captain, who will let you know if seating is available.
If you are driving on your own, directions, an itinerary, and parking information are provided below as well. Orientation in Albany will begin at 10:00 AM in the Convention Center of the Empire State Plaza. The rally will begin at 11:30 AM at West Capitol Park.

Safe Staffing Day of Action is designed to prepare NYSNA members to promote Safe Staffing Legislation in New York State, and to advocate for the nursing profession.
At the conclusion of Safe Staffing Day of Action, the participant will be able to:
The New York State Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. This workshop is awarded 4.5 contact hours.

Bus transportation will be provided for groups of ten or more. New York City buses will leave at 7:30 AM. Pick up locations will be at various NYSNA facilities, and additonal locations based on member registrations. You will be notified of the specific location and time in a confirmation letter.
