Stand Up to Violence Against Nurses on June 14

On June 14, the man who assaulted two Northern Westchester nurses will return to Mt. Kisco Justice Court.

On behalf of the 237,000 registered nurses in New York, NYSNA will be there to stand up to violence against nurses and violence against women — the two issues at the heart of this case.

We will line the streets of Mt. Kisco from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Buses will be available from several Westchester facilities, as well as from NYSNA offices in New York City and Latham. Use the attached form to register today, and join us June 14 when we Stand Up to Violence Against Nurses.

The New York State Nurses Association is the voice for nursing in the Empire State. With more than 37,000 members, it is New York’s largest professional association and union for registered nurses. The association represents registered nurses, and some all-professional bargaining units, in New York and New Jersey. It supports nurses and nursing practice through education, research, legislative advocacy, and collective bargaining.
