NEW YORK NURSE: December 2009
NYSNA’s twice-yearly publication dedicated to nursing research is looking for members interested in joining the Editorial Review Board. The Journal of the New York State Nurses Association depends on qualified members to help reveiw, shape, and publish manuscripts focused on nursing issues.
Members of the editorial board are appointed by the NYSNA Board of Directors and serve one six-year term. Through attendance at two yearly conference calls and participation in blind manuscript review, editorial board members guide the overall direction of the Journal and assure that published articles meet appropriate standards.
Prospective editorial board members should be previously published and hold an advanced nursing degree. Candidates must also be current members of NYSNA.
