Tens of thousands of people are planning to join the People’s Climate March in Manhattan on Sunday, September 21. NYSNA will be there.

Hurricane Sandy showed us a glimpse of the future, and it was scary. Four hospitals were shut down for months. Patients were stranded in their homes without electricity, running water, and medication. Traditional relief organizations were slow to respond, and caregivers like us had to help fill in the gaps.

As the climate heats up, storms like Sandy are going to become more and more frequent.

World leaders are meeting at the United Nations for a summit on the climate crisis. More and more world leaders are ready to take ambitious action to stop catastrophic climate change. Let’s make sure they hear from nurses.

Join the NYSNA contingent at the People's Climate March!
