Every Patient Deserves a Registered Nurse!
Stop Albany’s Attack on Our Scope of Practice
A dangerous proposal in the NY State budget could have far-reaching implications that will directly affect patient care and RN scope of practice! Currently, legislators are considering a bill that will allow highly skilled nurses to be replaced by workers without the training and education of an RN. Non-nursing personnel would be allowed to take RN duties without proper training or pay. This would create a two-tiered health care system that prioritizes cutting costs and the profits of ambulance operators, hospitals, and home care agencies over patient care. We need to fight it.
