Westchester Med nurses demand safe staffing and a fair contract

On Feb. 2, 2022, hundreds of NYSNA nurses at Westchester Medical Center lined the road in front of the hospital to speak out against deteriorating conditions. They highlighted unsafe staffing and patient care conditions and called for a fair contract to attract and retain experienced nurses. The nurses were joined by elected officials, who recognized their incredible work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed solidarity and hopes for a fair contract that protects patient care for Westchester County and beyond.
