Nurses and Healthcare Professionals Speak Out About Deteriorating Patient Care Conditions in Emergency Room and Throughout Hospital, Demand CVPH Listen to its Healthcare Heroes
Plattsburgh, N.Y.– Members of the New York State Nurses Association at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) are holding an informational picket in front of the hospital on Tuesday, March 15. Nurses and healthcare professionals are speaking out about the crisis conditions in the emergency room and throughout the hospital. CVPH staff have worked for two years through the COVID-19 pandemic without a contract. They are demanding that CVPH respect labor law and negotiate a fair contract that helps the hospital staff safely and protects quality patient care.
