NYC H+H Nurses Wear Red to Demand Pay Parity
NYSNA nurses at NYC Health + Hospitals (H+H) fought hard for and won a contract with pay parity last year. When H+H failed to implement the July 31st parity increase, the nurses quickly mobilized to demand answers. Management is now trying to delay this increase until November, which is a contract violation and betrayal to all hard-working New York City public sector nurses.
H+H nurses are wearing NYSNA red scrubs on Fridays to show their united demands for their hard-earned parity increases. They are joined by New York City elected officials who are showing their support and solidarity throughout the week on social media and demanding management deliver pay parity to nurses. Stay tuned for more actions and events in the upcoming weeks.
NYSNA H+H nurses won’t stop fighting until they receive the increase they’re owed!
