NYSNA Nurses Join the Picket Line in Solidarity With the Teamsters!

NYSNA nurses joined Teamsters Local 804 on the picket line in Brooklyn this morning. Teamsters President Sean O’Brien and State Senator and New York State Senate Labor Chair Jessica Ramos joined workers demanding UPS negotiate a fair contract. Teamsters have given UPS an Aug. 1 deadline to settle a contract before they go on strike.
Nurses are in solidarity with the over 340,000 Teamsters fighting against part-time poverty and exploitative working conditions nationwide.
