Our mission is to care for all. That's sums up NYSNA's new direction. And it's the subject of one of the motions we passed unanimously at our union's annual membership meeting, the Voting Body.

Over the past few years, NYSNA nurses have mobilized like never before to win fair contracts, improve conditions for our patients, and to protect access to quality healthcare for all New Yorkers.

Capital Region RNs to Picket 3 Hospitals at Once

Capital Region NYSNA RNs from Nathan Littauer Hospital, Ellis Medicine, and Bellevue Woman's Center will rally simultaneously for a fair contract for patient care at a multi-facility informational picket planned for Wed., Oct. 8 from 2 pm to 6:30 pm.

Rest in Peace, Adrienne Marie Wentworth, RN

Beloved NYSNA nurse Adrienne Marie Wentworth passed away on September 26, 2014 at the age of 29. Adrienne was an active nurse leader at AO Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, and was much loved by her patients and colleagues alike.

Bring Back LICH Ambulances

LICH patients, nurses, caregivers, community members, and ​elected leaders came together today to speak out in support of bringing back lifesaving ambulance services to the Cobble Hill emergency room.
