NYC H+H/Mayorals Bargaining Kickoff

What a great day!

Nurses and community leaders from all over New York City joined us in Harlem to kick off our 2019 contract campaign for NYC Health + Hospitals members.

Joining us were plenty of other unions and community allies such New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, District Council 37, AFSCME, Doctors Council SEIU, New York City Comptroller, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., CPHS, and several others.

We made it clear to the public that our fight is a fight for healthcare justice and that all New Yorkers should have access to high quality care, period.

Jovanna Woodley, RN, from Coler Hospital sums it up: "We are fighting for patients. We are fighting for nurses. We are fighting for anyone that can be admitted to the hospital.”
