It's been a great year for NYSNA and our work to put patients before profits. We wanted to share with you this video that highlights some of our accomplishments in 2014 – including winning groundbreaking contracts in the public sector, caring for NY's first Ebola patient Dr.

RNs to Management: See the Light on Staffing

NewYork-Presbyterian management says it has no problems with staffing. We say: See the light.

On December 18, nurses gathered outside Presby in Washington Heights for a vigil for safe staffing. We held candles, sang carols, and spoke out about the issues we and our patients face.

Hundreds picket for Safe Staffing at NY Methodist

NY Methodist nurses have filed more than 3,000 protest of assignment for safety concerns and unsafe staffing levels this year. On Monday, hundreds of us took our fight for Safe Staffing to the streets of Park Slope for an informational picket outside the hospital.
